Turkey Footprints
MATERIALS
picture of your little one
DIRECTIONS
paint your little one’s feet in one color and stamp two times on white paper (for example, paint the left foot in orange and stamp twice, then do the right foot in yellow two times)
once dry, cut around the feet and mount on all four on brown paper (put the two left feet together and then the two right)
print and cut out your little one’s face
glue the face in the middle of the four feet
make an oval shape for the turkey’s body and glue under the feet
glue two orange turkey feet underneath the body

Cranberry Scoop
MATERIALS
fresh cranberries
lemons
water
shallow container
kitchen spoons
knife (adult only)
DIRECTIONS
slice lemons
add lemons, cranberries, water, and scoops to a bin
practice measuring, scooping, and pouring!

Woodland Sensory Bin
MATERIALS
container
acorns, sticks, pinecones, leaves, flowers & anything else you find in nature!
DIRECTIONS
go on a nature hunt and collect different things you can find outside
add them to a bin with the woodland animals
tell stories, explore textures, and have fun!

Acorn Hedgehog
MATERIALS
cardboard
acorn tops
DIRECTIONS
draw and cut out the shape of a hedgehog
go on a nature hunt and find acorn tops
dip the acorn tops in liquid glue and stick to the hedgehog!

Contact Paper Leaf Owls
MATERIALS
white paper
leaves from outside
DIRECTIONS
cut out the owl’s body (an oval shape) out of construction paper and then cut out the inside leaving a small border (about ½ an inch)
Then attach a piece of contact paper so the sticky side is facing up
find some leaves and press them onto the sticky side
cut the owl’s head out of brown construction paper
cut and glue white eyes to the owl’s head and add black dots with a marker
glue brown wings to the sides and feet to the bottom
hang in the window and enjoy!
